As a manager, your primary responsibilities change from serving current customers and prospecting for potential customers to attracting and developing Sales Representatives. Western & Southern provides an extensive training program for Sales Managers augmented with professional coaching and mentoring. Your success is our success, and so we invest in your future. Sales Manager Training
If you desire a career in Sales Management and you are promoted, you will be enrolled in our Sales Manager Training program, which includes three parts: Initial Management Training, Sales Manager School 1, and Sales Manager School 2.

Initial Management Training
The Initial Management Training program ensures that all managers have a solid understanding of our training, recruiting systems, and basic leadership and management principles.

Sales Manager School 1
New managers who have completed the Initial Management Training program are invited to attend the Sales Manager School 1, held at the Home Office in Cincinnati, Ohio. This program builds upon the knowledge already learned in the position and focuses on the skills necessary to be a successful Sales Manager.

Sales Manager School 2
Selected Sales Managers are invited to attend the Sales Manager School 2, also held at the Home Office in Cincinnati, Ohio. This program teaches advanced recruiting, supervision, and leadership skills that are necessary for advancement into the District Sales Manager position.
