When Critical Illness Strikes
Life insurance agent Nancy Allen (Fort Lauderdale, Florida) meets annually with
a customer and her husband for an assessment interview. While reviewing
their coverage and financial status, Nancy realized that they were good
candidates for Critical Illness Insurance. The couple showed an interest
in the benefits of the plan and subsequently bought a policy.
Not long afterwards, Nancy learned that her customer had fallen gravely
ill and wanted to file a claim on her cancer policy. A critical illness
like cancer can strike suddenly and without warning. Fortunately, the customer
had excellent health insurance. So, between that and the cancer plan, all
medical expenses were paid. However, the real satisfaction for Nancy was
reminding her customer that she was also covered under her Critical Illness
Insurance Plan. As a result, the customer received a $25,000 check and was
able to use it to take time off for six months to recover from her devastating
illness. Policy series numbers: 0107-80, 0107-80-U, 0107-81, 0107-81-U, ID - 0107-80 ID, 0107-80-U ID, 0107-81 ID, 0107-81-U ID
