Welcome to WSLife.com, The Western and Southern Life Insurance Company's (Western & Southern) Web site. Our site navigation is designed to help you quickly find the information you need. How to Use This Site presents illustrated summaries that explain the main navigational features located on the home page and on a typical subpage.

For a quick overview of WSLife.com, please take our Site Tour. The Site Tour provides a brief Site Overview and explains Site Navigation, My Accounts, Products & Services, and Educational Resources.

Home Page Navigation

(1) Top Right Navigation
Links at the top right of the home page take you to Help, FAQs, Contact Us, and Search. To perform a search, simply enter one or more keywords and click

(2) Live Help & Financial Professionals Tabs
As shown on the home page above, these two tabs at the top left of every subpage link you to Live Help and Financial Professionals. For immediate online assistance, use Live Help to chat with a Customer Service Representative during these hours: 8:00 a.m. to 10 p.m. ET, Monday through Thursday; 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. ET, Friday; and 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. ET, Saturday. The Financial Professionals tab is designed for Western & Southern Sales Representatives.

(3) Main Navigation Menus
The primary navigation bar near the top of the home page lists eight main pull-down menus with additional links to subpages. The eight main areas are Life Insurance, Critical Illness Insurance, Annuities, Mutual Funds, Retirement, Education, Careers, and About Us.

(4) Products & Services
The center orange area of the home page highlights our products and services by featuring retirement topics, interactive financial tools, and various Life Stages for you to explore. You can also set up a free consultation with an agent.

(5) My Accounts & Quick Links
Registered users of My Accounts can login directly to view and change account information. Links under My Accounts allow Western & Southern customers to register for My Accounts, edit registration information, get login help with forgotten user name/password, and use EasyPay to make automatic premium payments. Just below My Accounts is Quick Links, taking you to five frequently accessed pages within the site.

(6) News
By clicking the four different tabs in the News block, you can read about Site News, Company News, Industry News, and Market News. Site News highlights recently added features on WSLife.com. Company News lists the latest Western & Southern Financial Group® news releases. Industry News links you to news stories about the insurance and financial services industry, economic trends, investing, and the stock market. Market News features intraday updates of the stock market (Dow Jones Industrial Average, NASDAQ, S&P 500, and Russell 2000), Treasury note rates, a Get a Quote feature to check current stock prices, and the ability to track your own stocks. In addition, you can read the latest issue of Market Thoughts – the quarterly newsletter published by Fort Washington Investment Advisors, Inc.� (a member of Western & Southern Financial Group) – for news and commentary about the economy and financial markets.

(7) Featured Topics
The bottom-right green area of the home page highlights featured topics that may be of special interest to you, such as career opportunities, company promotions, and educational seminars.

(8) Bottom Left Navigation
Finally, the links at the bottom of the home page connect you to Site Tour for a tutorial on WSLife.com; the Sitemap for a broad view of the site structure to see where content is located; the Glossary for definitions of a variety of financial, medical, insurance, and industry terms; the Copyright page for specific copyright information; Western & Southern�s Privacy Statement; and our Feedback section to comment on our customer service and Web site.

Subpage Navigation

(1) Top Right Navigation
Identical to the home page layout, these same links at the top right of every subpage take you to Help, FAQs, Contact Us, and Search. To perform a search, simply enter one or more keywords and click

(2) Live Help & Financial Professionals Tabs
These two tabs at the top left of every subpage link you to Live Help and Financial Professionals. For immediate online assistance, use Live Help to chat with a Customer Service Representative during these hours: 8:00 a.m. to 10 p.m. ET, Monday through Thursday; 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. ET, Friday; and 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. ET, Saturday. The Financial Professionals tab is designed for Western & Southern Sales Representatives.

(3) Main Navigation Menus
The primary navigation bar near the top of every subpage lists nine main pull-down menus with additional links to subpages. The nine main areas are Life Insurance, Critical Illness Insurance, Annuities, Mutual Funds, Retirement, Education, Careers, About Us, and My Accounts.

(4) Breadcrumb
The breadcrumb is a trail of links that illustrates where the page you are viewing is located relative to the entire site structure. In other words, it shows a specific path of levels back to the home page. The breadcrumb here is home > products & services > life insurance. In this example, the Life Insurance page – describing the different kinds of life insurance – is located within the Products & Services section of WSLife.com.

(5) Left Side Navigation
The left side navigation menu changes depending on what section of the site you are viewing and functions as your detailed navigation menu. Because the Life Insurance page falls under Products & Services, the left side navigation summarizes all the subcategories available within Products & Services: life insurance, critical illness insurance, annuities, mutual funds, and locate an agent. In addition, the life insurance submenu expands to display all the specific kinds of life insurance (e.g., whole life, term life, etc.) accessible through the Life Insurance page. Retirement, Education, About Us, My Accounts, Contact Us, and Help will all display different detailed menus on the left side of the page.

(6) Right Side Navigation
The right side navigation is used to display special features, helpful information, and additional links related to the topic at hand. In this example, you may want to locate the nearest Western & Southern office to schedule an appointment after researching product information, so our office locator feature appears on the right (although not shown in the screen capture above). Note that the Quick Links pull-down menu (featuring five key areas within the site) always appears as the first right side navigation item.

(7) Body Copy Links
Within the main body of a page there may be additional links that take you to more detailed information. Further down the Life Insurance page, specific Western & Southern products are listed under Whole Life Insurance – Economy Life, Superior Value Life®, 20 Payment Life, and Legacy Master® – along with links to Get a Quote.
